Get your disco shoes ready!
RubyCats will host its Caturday Night Fever Gala on Saturday, Sept. 19,, from 7 to 11 p.m. at Handmade Toledo, 1717 Adams St., for a fun evening celebrating cats, community and compassion.
Guests will enjoy delicious food, music, dancing, a cash bar, silent auction and other surprises, all while supporting RubyCats' mission to rescue cats, provide daily care and connect them with loving homes.
The evening will also feature special appearances by feline internet favorites Pudge and Webley Hen, giving attendees the chance to meet two beloved local celebrity cats while supporting a local nonprofit.

"This gala is an opportunity to celebrate everything our community has helped RubyCats accomplish while raising support for the cats still waiting for their forever homes," said Tallie Carter, founding executive director of RubyCats. "Whether you've visited the café, adopted a cat or simply love supporting local nonprofits, we'd love to spend the evening with you."
Since opening Toledo's first cat café, RubyCats has welcomed thousands of visitors and helped dozens of cats find loving homes. Proceeds from the gala will directly support the organization's rescue, adoption and daily care efforts, helping even more cats receive the love and attention they deserve.
The event is generously supported by Anthony Wayne Animal Hospital, The Willow Center and Silver Moon Soda Grill.
Tickets and additional event information are available at RubyCats.org/gala.
