We’re excited to welcome you and can’t wait for you to meet our friendly, adoptable cats. Whether you’re a cat enthusiast, a family looking for a fun outing, or someone who needs a dose of purr therapy, RubyCats has something special for everyone.

RubyCats Guidelines and Waiver

Before you step into our feline-friendly haven, we ask that you review and acknowledge our Behavior Guidelines and Assumption of Risk. These ensure a safe and enjoyable visit for both our guests and our adorable residents. Please note that this form must be completed by each visitor once per calendar year.

Parking

We recommend arriving 15 minutes early to allow time to find metered street parking nearby. You can pay with change or use the ParkMobile app for convenience. Please note: parking payment is required Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. For more details, visit the Downtown Toledo Parking Guide.

 

Grab a Drink at Grindhrs

Before your visit, swing by Grindhrs Coffee & Community, located across the street! RubyCats visitors enjoy an exclusive 15% discount on their beverage purchase when you present this email and show your timed ticket below. This discount applies to purchases up to $5 per ticket (some exclusions may apply).

Grindhrs Hours

  • Monday to Friday: 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

  • Saturday: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

  • Sunday: 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Treats and Drinks available

Tasty treats for humans from Cake in a Cup and bottled beverages from Flying Rhino Coffee and Boochy Mama's Kombucha, along with treats and toys for kitties, will be available for sale at RubyCats.

We are open to the public Thursdays through Sundays:

  • Thursdays, 4 to 8 p.m.

  • Fridays, 4 to 9 p.m.

  • Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

  • Sundays, 12 to 6 p.m.

Cat Café Visits 

Booking a visit to RubyCats is simple! Head to our Booking Page to choose your date and time, as each 50-minute visit is limited to around 15 guests for a cozy experience. After securing your spot, you'll receive an email confirmation. Walk-ins are welcome if space allows, but booking ahead is the best way to guarantee your time with our adoptable cats.
