We’re thrilled to have you join us in our cozy space, where cats and humans come together for purrs, play, and relaxation. Before you step into our feline-friendly haven, we ask that you take a moment to review and acknowledge our Behavior Guidelines and Assumption of Risk. These ensure a safe and enjoyable visit for both our guests and our adorable residents.

Please note that this form must be completed once per calendar year to keep your information up-to-date and ensure compliance with our policies. Thank you for helping us create a calm, welcoming environment for everyone!

Behavior Guidelines

We hope that you enjoy your time in our cozy space. To maximize your time with us, please be mindful of the following:

1. So Fresh and So Clean! Please use sanitizer or wash your hands before and after your visit.

2. Let me out! Wait, let me back in! Be mindful of the doorway upon entry and exit. Our feline residents may want to explore the space outside of their area and may dart out.

3. Oh, Behave! Familiarize yourself with cat behavior. Body language will tell you a lot. 

4. Hush hush! Keep it down now. Voices carry! Loud noises and voices will alarm our residents. Keep Calm and Pet On.

5. It’s so fluffy! Some of our residents may approach you for playtime or pets. Note that they still have their claws, so be gentle!

6. Picking up cats. Not all cats like to be picked up. Ask a volunteer if any of the cats can be picked up.

7. Let sleeping cats lie. Please do not disturb dozing residents.

8. Don’t feed me, Seymour! Unless it’s a cat treat! We sell them at the front desk.

9. Paw-parazzi. We love pictures! Just be sure to turn your flash off.

Assumption of Risk

I understand that interacting with Cats and Kittens within our space comes with inherent risks, including but not limited to:

• Bites

• Scratches

• Allergies and Allergic Reactions

• Infections

Although our Cafe works with a cat rescue to ensure the health and well-being of the felines on site, we cannot guarantee that the items above or health issues will not occur as a result of interactions with the cats. It is important to familiarize yourself with the posted cat behavior guide.

By signing below, I fully understand the possible risks indicated above and have read and understood our Behavior (Human and Feline) Guidelines.

Photography and Media Release Waiver

I understand and agree to the following:

1. Permission to Use Image

   By entering the RubyCats Cat Café, I grant permission to RubyCats and its affiliates to capture my image, likeness, or voice in photographs, videos, or other media.

2. Usage Rights

   I consent to the use of these photographs, videos, or other media for promotional, advertising, and marketing purposes, including but not limited to social media, websites, printed materials, and other forms of communication.

3. No Compensation

   I understand that I will not receive any monetary or other compensation for the use of my image, likeness, or voice.

4. Revocation of Consent

   If I do not wish to have my image or likeness used, I will notify RubyCats staff upon entry and ensure that I am not photographed or recorded.

5. Minors

   If signing on behalf of a minor, I affirm that I am the parent or legal guardian and consent to the above terms for the minor listed above.
